HOST-IFES began when a group of Dutch students opened their doors to give internationals in Groningen a true “home away from home.” Today, we’re a vibrant intercultural community where students from every corner of the globe can build lasting friendships over shared international dinners, lively board-game evenings, movie nights, city bike tours, and thought-provoking talks on life and faith. We’re open to people of all backgrounds, and we enjoy exploring big questions — including what we can learn from the life of Jesus. There’s something going on every week, and everyone is welcome — just drop in at any event and feel at home, no membership needed!
