My first experience abroad and being part of an international group of students triggered me. I saw becoming a trainee as an opportunity to hear more about intercultural ministry and leadership. What does that mean and how can I share the love of God across different cultures? Besides, I wanted to get more involved in the local group and thought that this traineeship could equip me for that. I was also really eager to hear from the other trainers’ experiences and grow in my faith. And I am not disappointed!

A highlight of the traineeship was that I rediscovered how to share the Gospel, more holistically, through different cultural lenses and the arts. Also, I really liked how we were looking at our strengths and how I can use mine. This gave me things to reflect on and now I’m looking how I can put this into practice.
